'This is a competition to raise funds for The Mayor of Woking
Charity'
Cheques made payable to 'The Mayor's Charity 2011/12'. Money raised

No cash alternatives are offered in place of the published prizes.
Entrants must live in or have a school, group or business based
in the Borough of Woking (see map above).
Submissions are to be made on the upper level of The Peacocks
Shopping Centre, Woking on the 24th and 25th March
between 10.00am - 4.00pm where an entry number will be issued.
Entries received after the 25th March will not be accepted.
A parent or legal guardian is required to accompany a child under
16 years on the submission days.
A parent or legal guardian is required to provide their own email
or telephone number for a child entry under 16 years.
Members of the voting panel who enter cannot be voted for but
their work will be on show on the
visual screen at The Lightbox Gallery during the 14th - 21st April.
In the event of prize gifts not being available, alternative prize(s)
of equal or greater value will be offered.
Film tickets are for non FLS listed films. Advert size is a quarter
page 140mm x 180mm.
Advert design, artwork and PDF artwork is to be supplied by the
winner(s) to the newspaper.
The winner(s) and/or any parent or legal guardian are solely responsible
for all insurance, applicable taxes
and for any expenses or costs not specified in the prize description.
The Mayor and his voting panel will judge the entries between
26th March and 13th April.
The public vote will be held on 21st April and open to all visitors
of The Lightbox Gallery on this day only during the opening hours.
The winner(s) will be notified by e-mail or telephone by the Mayor
or a member of his team within 3 days of the 21st April.
Winning works in all categories will be published on this website
and in the Woking News & Mail.
If a winner does not claim their prize within four weeks of notification
the prize will be awarded to another entrant who
received the second highest public vote in the related category
on the 21st April.
The decision of the Mayor and his voting panel plus the results
of the public vote on the 21st April are final
and no correspondence will be entered into. Entrants accept all
risk of damage to their work whilst in storage and exhibited.
We can accept no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, misdirected,
damaged or undelivered.
Names, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers collected as part
of this prize draw will only be used in conjunction with this
promotion.
Your Personal Data will not be disclosed to any third party, except
for the purpose of fulfilling the prize(s) where applicable
unless you gave your express consent to this on entry.
On collection of the prize, where the winner(s) is under sixteen
(16), a parent or legal guardian must be present.
Businesses that enter may be contacted by the The Woking News
& Mail but only if permission is granted on submission.
No payment required - A written entry describing your idea can
be submitted on the submission days without the need of an
entry fee. The Mayor and the voting panel will judge your written
entry idea along side other entries.
Only one written idea per person, business, school or community
group.
